It's for my girlfriends brother. Hes playing WoW and diablo right now idk if he'll get into other games though.

Budget: $450
More specific use (what games, what programs): It's for my girlfriends brother. Hes playing WoW and diablo right now idk if he'll get into other games though.
Planned time until purchase: asap
Do you need an Operating System?: no
Do you have any specific preferred components?: no
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: wireless
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: no
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: no
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 98663

I'm stealing ram optical and hd from another computer and I want some room for upgrading. I put the budget at $450 but I'd rather not go up to that unless I'm getting pretty significant upgrades for it.

much better CPU
much better PSU
better GPU
much newer mobo
etc.

it'll last much longer than the athlon x4,
and the 4460 will be better for d3 and WoW

what would be the best way to get it down to like $400 to compensate for shipping?

It's not good because to fit 4460, ur downgrading all of its other components and even suggesting poor quality psu.
Better off getting a g3258 at that point
