Budget: Preferably under $1200. Definitely under $1400
More specific use (what games, what programs): I play different FPS games, WoW, and random AAA releases as they come out.
Planned time until purchase: Within the next 2-3 weeks
Do you need an Operating System?: No
Do you have any specific preferred components?: Based on my research, I'd like the build to be based around a 4690k. I also prefer Nvidia over AMD. More info below
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: No
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: Overclock
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: No
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): Texas

Here is what I came up with so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bmDqCJ

My main concern from the above build is the CPU cooler. I have never overclocked before, but I plan on doing so in this build. Suggestions are greatly appreciated. At this point, I'm open to air and liquid cooling. Any insight you can give about why you would go with one of the other would be amazing.

My second concern is the case, simply because there are so many options out there. I would prefer a mid tower, but I am not opposed to using a full tower. I definitely want the tower to be black, and I plan on installing blue LEDS. If anyone has experience with this, please share. I've researched and seen some neat work that people have done. I've also seen some poorly done jobs on case lighting.

Thanks for reading, and I like forward to your genius ideas!

i just did this one for someone else in a different post..

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/VsC6GX

i know you stated you prefer intel/.nvidia over amd.. but at least check it out ;)

e/ you could swap out the vid card for a higher end one if need be if you have the few extra hundred bucks to spend... and the 8320 has a proven stable overclock at 4.5ghz with liquid cooling (approx 100cfm)

... i have almost this exact same setup ( i just built mine 3 weeks ago) and i have had no issues or problems with my rig.. room temperature is 21*c, internal temperature in my case is 16*c, cpu hasnt hit higher than 50*c under extreme rendering load, overclocked at 4.5Ghz.. i compose music, video/pic editing, dj and game from this rig..

Shouldn't suggest 8320/8350 for anything above ~1k usd build

OP bump in 2-3 weeks cuz prices change a lot
