If i wanted to add an SSD to this build but keep the price down around 1500 by changing something(s), what would you suggest?

Get a cheaper wireless card and drop the HDD. Get a 250 GB SSD and get an HDD later. You could get a slightly cheaper power supply as well, if needed, but make sure its a good one.

my $0.02 on dexa's first build

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/vPsbbv

slightly nicer PSU for expansion posibility in the future
8gb 390 is a bit overkill for what you want to play unless you're playing than resolution higher than 2560x1440
adds an ssd
$7 over your budget
