I recently purchased an SSD that I would to install. I do not have the Windows installation CD so I am going to have to clone my drive over to the SSD. Can anyone tell me what the easiest way to do that is? I hear there are programs out there to make it really easy.

After cloning the drive onto the SSD, do I just format the old hard drive?
Do I have to unplug the old hard drive at any time?
