Hi guys!

My girlfriend is looking for a lightweight laptop to get rid of her overpriced macbook air.

Her criteria :
-Not a mac
-Not a chromebook
-Screen : between 11 and 13 inches
-Weight : under 3 pounds (1.36 kg)
-Budget : 750 CAD or under

She will be using the laptop for web browsing, youtube, Microsoft office and some basic photoshop.

I think this would work well for her.

Would be able to handle light photoshop no problem and be extremely fast in web browsing/every day tasks.

Edit: This weighs 4.41 lbs, so maybe this is too much for her. The screen size is larger than what she wants as well. It went on sale for black Friday and was like $549 or $599. That is a steal for what you are getting. I bet it goes on sale Cyber Monday as well!

With my logic that would be a no brainer, cause its a really nice pc, its a very good price and I dont really really care about weight.
But it looks like she too weak to handle a 4 pound laptop
Seriously the under 3 pound criteria is really important to her for some reason.

I really think she is going to be hard pressed to find a laptop that isn't a "chromebook" type laptop that weighs under 3 lbs.

Thats what I told her haha

She might just have to install windows on her macbook air, but with a 128gb ssd that would take a lot of space.

Look for any zenbooks to go on sale id say is your best bet for under 3 pounds and not a mac/ chrome

Windows 7 is 20gigs of space for 64 bit version, assuming her air has 8gigs of ram.

And just buy her an external harddrive or a big usb 3.0 flash drive.

Thanks guys! Zenbooks seems to be what we are looking for! She's probably gonna wait to get one on sale, but thats seem to fit her needs
