Pc looks good, def have to cover the orange on the 24pin, but all in all, nice and clean.

Thanks! He bought some red LED strips but when you power them up, they definitely look orange. So we didn't install them. He's going to get red fans to go on the bottom of the radiator and try to get some LED strips that are actually red!

Good catch on the 24pin. I'll get some electrical tape and cover that up for him.

It's my friends first ever computer. I think it's going to blow his head off when it finally starts up and we get windows installed on it.

Looks pretty solid man, nice.
Too bad the gpu has no red accents though, msi gtx 970 would have been nice :p

It does but on the bottom! Sadly they were out of the MSI 970 or else that's what he was going to get. He bought the warranty so he can return it and upgrade!

No, you are correct, he installed the RAM incorrectly. For dual channle operation, it should be installed in slots 2 & 4 counting AWAY from the CPU.
It's on page 1-15 in his motherboard manual.
