using pcpartpicker canada can you make better than this? (someone posted me that build a while ago on another topic, im starting to buy the pieces now and i will keep buying them 1 by 1 from now to like 15th of december as i get $ everyweek etc)

wondering if i should go for that 3.2ghz cpu or pay a bit more for a 3.5ghz.

wondering if that motherboard is total crap or if its just cheap and effective for the cost

wondering what kind of case i should get to not have the incompability thing

wondering if 1x 8gb ram is better than 2x 4gb (i already know that 1x 8 will be better if i want to get 16gb latter but in term of performance is 1x8 the exact same as dual 4gb or what?

also wondering if a 550w gold PSU is better than getting a 650-750W silver or bronze whatever for the same price? does gold really change anything?

will be donating some fgs everytime i open a box of component (donating to people that i feel have helped me nicely thinking and shoping :D )

tomorrow ill most likely be buying that r9 390 in sale at neweggs at like 380$ because the sale ends on 30th of nov and it may also get out of stock ^^

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125792&AID=10657534&PID=3938566&SID=&nm_mc=AFC-C8JunctionCA&cm_mmc=AFC-C8JunctionCA-_-na-_-na-_-na&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_source=afc-%25zn

but even for this card im unsure, alot of people reported issues with turning it off and the fans... might go for a r9 from another label (like msi or something) its sad cause this one was dirtcheap

thinking about one of those 2 now, still r9 390 but different builders cause gigabite has so many bad reviews and its only like 20-25$ cheaper i dont want to save 25$ and end up with problems.

people in the reviews says the XFX is super quiet idk if its more quiet than the msi but to me noise isnt really a problem unless its extreme ^^

also i have a question, both of those cards say 1 display port, does it mean i can't have 2 monitor with those cards?

Get the 850w http://www.ncix.com/detail/evga-supernova-850-b2-80-a2-98820-1259.htm?affiliateid=7474144
if you think you will SLI/Crossfire in the future.

This way, when you upgrade in the future, you don't have to get another powersupply.
If you know you're 100% on staying with 1 strong card, buy the 750W.

not worth paying more for .3ghz extra
mobo isn't the greatest, but it's the best you can get at that price point. Plus it doesnt matter as much since ur not getting the CPU to oc with.

2x4 gb ram is better, u can still get another 2x4 ram to upgrade to 16gb.

210 is a great case, especially at that price in Canada.
only con would be not having usb 3.0 in the front, but the quality of the case makes up for it compared to all shitty overpriced cases for Canada.
other options closer to that budget would be Spec 02 and 100R

u should price match all the newegg items to another vendor to avoid shipping costs, memory express to get 10% extra off from price match

ah thanks i thought the mobo only had 2 slots for memory :P im stupid ^^ so yeh def getting 2x 4gb then maybe another 2x latter ( if i ever want 16gb, im sure i dont want 32gb tho^^so 4x4 is nice)

as i posted after, im probably not going for the gigabite gpu(check my edit on first post) and prolly getting a msi or XFX one for like 20$ more because they dont have tons of bad reviews about power on off problems and other stuff plus i trust MSI more than gigabite (just as i trust asus over toshiba for personal reasons lmfao)

im trying to figure out SPECIFICALLY wich gpu ill buy cause whatever it is it will be ordered tomorrow ^^ the other parts can wait a few days or 1-2week ^^

i have no idea what SLI means but i don't plan on having 2 GPU in my build ever so :) no crossfire forsure

i'm kind of hesitating if i want a overclockable CPU or not, but you say this mobo wouldnt allow it? i guess i just give up on that idea... but then i prolly want a 3.5ghz processor forsure i do not want to save like 20-50$ on the processor then end up being limited by it and think 'oh i shit have paid 50$ more and i'd have significantly better performance right now)

i mean the GPU is tier 2 (the only better GPUs ive seen are like in the 700CAD range so thats not an option)
if there was better GPU for 50$ more i would buy em ^^ but theres the 390 and the 970gtx and then a huge step to 980 so yeh ^^

so i think the only part that affect performance and that a few bucks can make better is the CPU...right? ^^ the powersupply don't matter/ram dont matter/mobo dont matter etc ^^

sorry if some of my sentences are hardly expressed, im not english native even tho i'm a white ass canadian born and raised

.3ghz extra is not game changing for you to think that you'll be limited by the 3.2 and not 3.5 lol
they'll both last the same year before upgrading, it's not gonna be like this 3.2 is gonna last me 3 yrs, and 3.5 is gonna last me 5. They're both gonna last you the same year before u upgrade it.
up 2 u tho, if it makes u feel more satisfied then go for it

what about getting a 3.5ghz i5-4690K

ive been told they are easy to overclick to 3.8-4ghz without really any cooling issues ^^ (someone told me he overclocked his to like 4.4 and he only needed a better CPU heatsink and fan, think he bough the processor without heatsink and fan and bough a fan+sink combo at like 35$ )

would it be a a 'game changing' difference between 3.2 and 4?

if you think 3.2 and 4 would be the same or if you tell me i couldnt get a overclockable CPU with that motherboard (you said something about OC and this mobo earlier) then i guess ill just stick to 3.2... i mean its only like 60$ more between 3.2 and 4 ( a 3.5 overclocked to 4 i mean)

no the games you are going to be playing 3.2ghz will be great.

people OC because they want to show off and think having a higher ghz is cool. Some people just like to tweek their setups. yours will be fine

from my understanding you want an LED IPS monitor.

Someone can chime in on this though. When I bought my monitor 2 years ago I got a Dell Ultrasharp. I couldn't afford a 144hz or 4k resolution monitor at the time, but I remember everyone saying to make sure I got an LED IPS. That's what I ended up with but maybe things have changed now.

wat

People Overclock for various reasons, OC'ing a CPU can help improve game performance & Drastically improve encode/rendering times.
