Been reading peoples posts on here that some users can PM them about a "cheap" windows OS version, others I've read have said some link via reddit? Tried googling with reddit, didn't come up with anything.

If you're one of those people in the know and can PM me, that'd be sweet. I'm going to Micro Center when they open in the morning with my buddy who's building his first gnarly computer. He's beyond excited. I'd like to save him some money so he can get a nice monitor. He seems to think his 720p 32" Off brand HDTV is going to have a "bad ass display." I'm just like NAH YOU NEED A GOOD MONITOR. LED IPS 1080P AT MINIMUM! Hate for him to have this bad ass computer and not be able to fully enjoy it.

Built 2 computers this week for friends. So fun!

You can download windows from microsoft's website:

this is for windows 10: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

for windows 7: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7

Create DVD/USB from the windows 10 install too in case something fucks up your boot in the future instead of just downloading the update after installing win7.

You can also legally download windows installation disks from any other site.

Yeah, that version is the professional (cheaper than the home version for some reason)

Yes, you get the key.

G2A is a site that resells games/keys and they advertise their referral program with famous youtubers/streamers. (Referral program = spam your link and if people buy something after clicking on your link, you get like a few cents)

pretty sure its a few bucks for big items ^^ like on a 100$ item id assume the referall guy get 1-2$ atleast
