Not sure what is out there, I've used Avast for so long, and idk if I should be changing from that or not.

BitDefender and Kaspersky have really great reviews also bcuz they are lightweight for gaming

I was watching those vids few days ago

Avast still a good choice

Kaspersky is shit. I like BitDefender though..thats what I use and recommend.

this. just to prove this point to myself I generally don't even install an antivirus program (on my personal computers). and if I do I can't think of a situation where it has actually detected something I didn't intentionally install.
really if you use good judgement and realize what might not be a safe site/email you can avoid most all viruses
