That will support ddr3 for sure. Can over clock down the road as well if need be. Didn't see any real confirmation of ddr3 working in the new systems.

The GTX 680 is a tad more power hungry than the newer cards....

It doesn't consume 400 watts that's for sure. What I linked is plenty

that's assuming people have sparklepower power supplies
6700k + 680 can run on 500w oc'd easily

Then I guess it's a good thing, I build my own comps.


/e Even aside from that....it costs the same and has 100 more watts. It's also manufactured by the OEM power supply maker. But still, same price, more wattage...I don't see the issue here. Lol
