Hi JSP!

I am looking for some help/advice concerning building my new PC.

I have been reading lots of reviews on PC parts and checking out other gamer's rigs.

I still feel a bit lost as to what is a nice compromise between power and price.

Hoping to spend around $1000.

Do not need any peripherals or monitor.

So far I've been looking through NCIX, TigerDirect, Amazon and NewEgg..

Any input / advice would be appreciated!

Buut.. buut..buuuuut

HALP!

/E
So a friend was telling me that paying $0.4 / GB of SDD is a decent price.

Also learning I should be aiming for a 600-700 PSU.

I am currently using an older core i7 920 @ 2.67GHZ. Not sure if I can get more use out of this? Mainly playing DoTA.

I was also told I should get 16GB of RAM.

Any input would be great, thanks!
