Looking to build a HTPC/a PC i can travel with.


Budget: Under 1000
More specific use (what games, what programs): None specific, but assume d3, WOW, LoL, Dota, Fallout 4
Planned time until purchase: Can purchase whenever needed, no time frame.

Do you have any specific preferred components?: Smallest form factor that allows optimal cooling

Sorry this may not be an optimal build as I don't have a lot of mini itx experience :/
but i've worked in this case and it's decent. Cable management is non-existent but it fits a full size card and the temps are reasonable, though I did not personally use such high end hardware and overclocking.

i did not add a cooler as I don't know if you wanted a low end water aio or an air cooler. You could always lower to a 960 to generate less heat, or try a blower-style card which could help temps on the inside.

The build i did had an athlon 860k and a gtx 750, stock cooling, no overclocks and my temps wer in the 50s for cpu, 60-s for graphics.

Thanks for the response I'm hoping to get lucky with someone thtag has made small builds like this.
