I'm looking to build a good gaming desktop that will last me some time that I can upgrade if need be in the years to come. I basically am looking for some motherboard options. I will mainly be using it for gaming and videos. 1-1.5k budget

Literally just seen this as a package in tiger direct but alot of reviews about the motherboard saying it's junk

Well stay away from TigerDirect to begin with. Motherboard isn't junk. :)

Oh? Where else do you recommend? I used to buy all my parts from them. I've heard newegg is decent but the prices don't seem much different.

This site will show you ALL the best prices... http://pcpartpicker.com/


It let's you price components or a whole build, etc.

Thanks for the response, used the site and m6 build ended up 200 bucks cheaper :)
