I'm looking to build a good gaming desktop that will last me some time that I can upgrade if need be in the years to come. I basically am looking for some motherboard options. I will mainly be using it for gaming and videos. 1-1.5k budget

Literally just seen this as a package in tiger direct but alot of reviews about the motherboard saying it's junk

Well stay away from TigerDirect to begin with. Motherboard isn't junk.

Oh? Where else do you recommend? I used to buy all my parts from them. I've heard newegg is decent but the prices don't seem much different.

TigerDirect has, in the past at least, been known to sell rebadged parts, used as new, etc.
