Budget: Cheapest... max 500$

More specific use (what games, what programs): Firefox, watch movies. Adobe Photoshop photo-editing.

Planned time until purchase: As soon as I find the greatest deal on a cool computer. I could wait until november or boxing day if nessesary but I could buy right now if the deal is awesome!

Do you have any specific preferred components?: Intel CPU, SSD. (all my movies/music will be held on an external harddrive so the ssd dosen't need to be big.)

Do you need a bigger monitor? mouse? full keyboard?: No.

Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): Canada, H2P 2J7

Additional information that may help us assist you:

What are your preferences in case style? (lights, flashy, dull, etc) ; don't care really...
Are you planning to use multiple monitors? yes, plug the laptop to a tv screen to watch movies.
Are you looking for upgrade-ability? No.
Do you have any preferred brands? Intel. I would like durable components.
Can you reuse any components from an older build? No.
Is there anything else you think we should know? I would like it to have wireless features, bluetooth and integrated webcam.

Special Thanks to Markie, Krzyy, Switch11,TheEvil1, and every regular on this sub forum!!!

i3, 4gb ram. Most of what you see in that price range CDN will have Intel Celeron and low end AMD chips.

At least with the i3 you get hyperthreading.

e/ with a good sale, you could find one with an i5 for like, $499, but it depends if with tax you want to go over budget. Also, shipping.

honestly my current laptop is a Asus RoG from 2011 got it used 2 years ago and i paid 550$ to a random guy for it, i did some tests on the machine before buying it and everything was fine its been working good since

id buy a used laptop like this over a new one anyday, i mean mine has a 2gb geforce gtx card and a i7 processor, 8gb ram and shit ^^ better than a i3 with no dedicated card anyday :D
