Dad just wants a 300-500$ laptop, i figured online would be better than retail store. Doesn't really need to be anything fancy just something with good bang for the buck. Not like hell be doing heavy gaming, mostly simple games, video chat, etc.

Newegg has a good selection and is tax free for most places.
If you have tax free amazon, then thtas also a good place, but i'd look at newegg first.
