Current specs are below. I'm wanting to upgrade my graphics card to a 970; just not sure which to get. Got a Corsair 650 PSU. I will probably end up upgrading ram, too but I mainly just need some insight on what to go for as far as a 970 is concerned.

Twice the VRam will let you Cfx in the future and not hit a wall with only 3.5gb. Games are already hitting that.

Why you wanting the 970 lol...the tiny bit of power saved isn't going to matter whatsoever and the heat shouldn't unless you have the PC in a shut closet..
