I know where all the parts go (this is my 4th build) but my cable management is horrible and i tried to raid 0 my last build and never could get it to work properly. I am looking for some help around oct 8 or 9 which is when I get off my oil rig, i would be willing to throw the person who helps me some "forum gold" because cash transactions are not allowed.

Prolly gonna want to do a skype call or something first because some samsquanch looking mofo would prolly trip my GF out...

Thanks

Why couldn't you just skype call with someone who's not in the vegas area?

I guess that is possible but explaining something is not as easy as showing someone... Especially on things like cable management

Cable management is pretty easy. Just run all the wires behind the motherboard tray.

7 case fans, 3 HDD's optical drive, power sucking vid card...

Managing cable would only be a lil difficult if you have a shitty case

That does look very clean, i went with the 540 Air from Corsair for a case but my buddy talked me into 980 ti's from EVGA that are hybrid, so that means i will have 3 sets of water cooling (might have been beneficial to just to a custom loop)

All that aside, my last build was 5 years ago and i couldnt get raid set up properly did they make it idiot proof yet?

Hide all the extra slack from the power supply behind the motherboard. If your power supply is modular, only connect the wires that are used and store the extras. And that's how you manage your cables.

Using a raid card would be optimal. You won't need to raid if you have ssd's.

I did go with a full SSD build but a raid 0 set up with SSDS sounds like a good time... And my PSU is fully modular the HX1000i so that should help get rid of some extra wires...

Much easier to do with a case that is designed for it.
