My mother is in need of a new laptop lol im looking for something good for a little gaming but mostly web browsing and movies etc

something between 100-300$

p.s. this laptop is mostly for home use so size does not matter can be big if better etc

also she prefers windows 7 so i dont think she would want a fancy touch screen etc

so no need for something like that

New laptops aren't really being made with windows 7. A laptop in that price bracket will only handle gaming that integrated graphics have, so very very basic stuff.
Currently with your requirements you have to find something used on craigslist to get all of those requirements, and that's probably my suggestion! ^_^

Ah in that case your options are a bit more open. Either way laptops at that price range are all equally not that good :D
just get any laptop that fits your budget and avoid anything that says AMD e1 processor because it is terrible, even among budget [i cannot tell you how many people i have met who were looking for a cheap laptop and got this, it makes me sad :p].

none of those laptops' price are accurate
Otherwise my choice would have been the dell, thats pretty great battery life.
However all of those are otherwise pretty much identical performance wise, at least as far as your mom is concerned.
that 2830 celeron is about half the power [on paper] of the 1037u, so i'd see if any of the 1037u processors fit the budget with a better battery life and grab that.
otherwise that amd laptop is looking nice as it has the best processor out of all of those.

I don't dislike amd at all, i just dislike that processor because it is a very common processor you find at walmart/bestbuy in the cheapest laptop ^^
its also got the processing power of a toaster.
