Bought the following 4 years ago:


added an SSD 6 months ago.

Recently (like once in 14 days) my pc crashes..sounds gets blown up and screen freezes.

I think it has somthing to do with my ram, motherboard or video card.

I dont know anything about how to put them together.

Point of this pc is to randomly game no high end graphic games like Path of exile / diablo / wow / starcraft / League of legends / Guild wars

Is it worth looking for an upgrade or just play another 1-5 years untill it crashes? if its possible to upgrade, what should I upgrade?

if the graphic card is the problem, it is easy changeable (but I read its still a good one)
if its the motherboard, it might be another problem (according to some guy I spoke at the computerstore)
the ram..well No idea

how are your temps while gaming?
does it crashes in games or whenever

crashes whenever.. can be while just listening to spotify or after playing a copple of hours or min just randomly happens..
tried to find a reoccurring event but couldnt find anything.

in the beginning I tought it was a bad connection to my HDD. but then I shouldnt be able to hard reboot instantly

is it a blue screen or it just freezes and you hard reset?

freezes, no blue screen
everything stays the same on my screen, cant even move my mouse (it dissapears) and sounds goes crazy loud zoom

today I do notice that my processor goes to 100% when starting starcraft.. never noticed this before (for 20sec) after that it goes down to 10-30%

they told me they did after installing the ssd.

problem happened before the installation of the ssd and after (way less after)

You should run memorycheck for a good 8 hours to check if it comes up with anything.

Have you tried running the computer with just integrated graphics? That can be done by taking out the GPU and plugging the cord in the mobo output.

Third step would be to run your comp without the HDD, just with the SSD.

If that doesn't stop the crashing, it's probably PSU or mobo, my guess being the first one.

how do I run a memory check? the windows in built thingy? or can I find this somewhere in the readme's on the forum?
