for $400 bucks. Which seems like a good deal. Definite may be though. I did not have any plans to make a new pc but if I get this I figure I might as well since im still on my dinosaur phenom 955 gigabyte 8900 geforece gtx470.
So my question is, with a budget between 1200-1500 minus the 400 from processor and mobo what case/power/cooling/gfx should I be looking at in order to stay within that budget. Better to just buy an prebuilt cyber power pc or something?

A lot of that depends on what the former owner DID to the CPU or motherboard.

This keeps it under $800 for everything.
You could always up the ram for another $50 to a total of 16GB.
