Looking for some advice on a decent desktop. I'm willing to buy from about anywhere, but figured I'd start looking on Newegg/Tiger/Amazon/Best-Buy etc.

I think I am just looking to buy a pre-built this time around. Given my current situation, I don't have the time or energy to build one right now, and due to my school situation, I can't have any downtime of new machines. Also, pre-loaded windows blah blah etc. Just looking for a pre-built now guys.

I will need a monitor, keyboard and mouse (don't want cheapo free ones, so you can leave off and I'll just go buy decent ones later)

I think I need a decent gaming rig. Something in the 500-800 range (without the monitor obviously but would like a relatively cheap "add-on" monitor 20+ inches 1080)

I want a blu-ray drive but don't think it's in the cards where I was looking.

SSD + TB HD preferably, but can go just ssd and I have an external

decent amount of ram

video card with decent amount of on-board and can perform with most "current" games I play marvel heroes and my god does that thing eat up some system processes

processor (I want something decent this time around 3.5+ quad+)

wireless please

decent audio card? I like to add some subs later on with some "umph"

Will end up shipping FG if I buy something from someone's suggestion, I always do this, and I've bought computer suggestions here a few times before. So, I'd like some decent help on this guys. Thanks alot! <3

you can pay a company to assemble it for you for around 50$. they can install windows and whatnot for you. it's much better in terms of price. a 500$ prebuilt "gaming" rig is gonna make you cry.

This one will eat that prebuilt one alive, will last longer, and on a bad day would take an hour to build.

Ugh, that looks good, just a little over my budget. 800 is like a firm cap for just the tower. I still need to buy a monitor and whatnot. Plus I guess rip an OS, tho I wanted a legit win 10. Also, think I will pay someone like 40 bucks to just do it. I don't even feel like building em anymore...

That's fine. But please notice that they don't list the component manufacturer's on the specs sheets for prebuilts.
