i went thru parts on pcpartpicker and try build my own rig but it ended a little high in price for my taste... what's the build look like?

Description: Gaming, Photoshop/CAD, Video Editing, etc. and Budget

Budget:2000-2500 can maybe go a little over
More specific use (what games, what programs): everything that comes new...
Planned time until purchase: anytime soon
Do you need an Operating System?: i have windows 7 cd... should i go with it or should i go to a newer version of windows?
Do you have any specific preferred components?: intel cpu / ssds in raid (i never did raid on a previous build so i would look forward to it to see which one is better for me gaming needs)
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: yup both
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: i do NOT plan overclocking.. maybe i should go with another cpu? altho i like having an overclockable cpu for resale.
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: All ov' em.
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): H2P2J7 Montreal Quebec Canada

Maybe I could go for a laptop instead too... what are good websites to look forward them? Any reccomendations on gaming laptops?

The whole description thing should be ignored there. the computer will be used for gaming only.

Compatibility Notes

The motherboard M.2 slot #0 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6Gb/s ports are disabled.

i didnt realise my origginal post also had compatibility issues.

Thats fine though, it will just disable 2 of them to power the m.2, it has 8 on the board, youd be fine.
