What is best/fastest for gaming a USB adapter or network adapter or any other suggestions?

Ethernet is not a choice atm.

Ethernet is always a choice unless you're an OCD headcase about wiring, wireless internet and gaming don't go in the same sentence

At the top I specifically say ethernet cable is not an option but yet people continue to only talk about it.

Please try to help me in the question I have above or do not spam about the ethernet cord

A Pci-e adapter would be best

But pretty much any usb adapter would do.

Cant really tell you a model number, as they're all really pretty much the same. Also depends on your wireless router.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with wireless internet now, Back in the day i would totally agree with you... But seeing how wireless has GREATLY improved over the years, This is a dumb argument.

I was going to ignore your arrogance and utter stupidity ... except there's a chance this kid will listen to you .

Wireless is not on par with a wired connection and will not be for a long time ... the latency difference in normal conditions is negligible except in competitive gaming circles I won't dispute that... but there are far too many things that can fuck with wireless connections and make your life a nightmare where it is not enjoyable to use ...

The reason people are telling you not to do it because it's an awful idea ... it's literally better to grab a staple gun and staple a cord through your house than it is to use a wireless signal through multiple floors for serious gaming . We aren't here to be ass holes .... you asked people who are technology enthusiasts to decide between being punched in the face or being punched in the nuts ...because it's not possible to avoid being hit... we came back with the logical conclusion that you should do neither and try to avoid being hit.... (metaphor obvs)

The latency difference between a decent wireless setup, And wired setup is so negligible that the argument is pointless. Any minuscule difference in ping between the two would be way below the human reaction speed anyways.

Of course other signals could cause interference & interruptions in the wifi, But that's why you set it up on a wireless channel that doesnt have much/any traffic on it.

The guy wants to use wireless, There's absolutely nothing wrong with a proper wireless setup. Now quit trying to shove "Omg wired" Dribble down his throat.

If the floor levels go on the same electric net, you can always try power line adapters
