hey guys can I put graphics card on APU or it doesnt support others graphics card

amd-A8 5600k APU with radeon graphics HD

so I want to buy a 780 ti nvgea graphics card and I see the slot for the graphics card but is my APU and processor can handle it or it doesnt work at all?

Yes you can, you would install the GPU in the PCI-E Slot and plug the monitor into the GPU it will/should disable the onboard....

instead of wasting the money though, just buy enough ram to utilize the APUs graphics processor unless you are running something intense that would require the upgraded graphics card...if you're just gonna dick around on like wow and league and diablo and stuff, don't waste your money on an outdated card like 780
