My current machine is getting pretty old, so I need to get an upgrade.

I had been taking a look at the Intel Core i7-5930K Haswell-E and the ASRock Fatal1ty X99X Killer motherboard. Ram I had considered was the G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin (Model F4-2400C15Q-32GRR). I do plan on getting a total of 64 gig though soon.
I currently have a SSD already with an OS, as well as a 970 gtx video card. I plan on in the future of getting the 980 ti, possibly SLI (2+)
Overclocking will happen in the future, just not the immediate future. I prefer to stay away from water cooling if possible (until a time as I might need it). My case is a Rosewill THOR V2 Full ATX, so I will need a cooling unit that will fit in there and work with the ram (I hear that low profile ram is an option, but more expensive).
I do need to get a new PSU though, I'm thinking maybe 850w for now would be good?

If anyone has any suggestions that would be awesome.
Machine is going to be used for gaming as well as working which involves photo processing/rendering and other software that does use multiple cores, else I would have gone with an i5 of some sort probably.

Are you planning to use virtual machines? 32gb is already too much, so 64 will be a complete waste it won't increase the speed of the computer.

Same goes for the 970, just sli an another one and u're good enough to run every game in max. You'll eventually gain some fps, but that doesn't really worth the price of it.
