Ok, so i want to upgrade the gpu atm im thinking the 970?

initally i thought 960 because its only 200$ but i read benchmarks and seen that my current card outpeforms it somehow.. but the 970+ series seemed to be better.

i cant go 980 cuz im not willing to fork out 650$ atm

and the 970 is better and only 350$

what do u guys think

also if u own both the 770 and the 970 can u tell me anything?

Not worth spending 350 for that upgrade.

For 350 he can get a barely used 980
But I'd still wait

I have them both. Not worth the upgrade.

My gf's old GPU just happened to die so proceeded to upgrade mine and sold her my 770. Basically I paid 150€ less for my upgrade and it was still questionable. Don't do it.

grab another 770 and SLI. Theyre decently priced nowadays, for that purpose.
otherwise, wait for something better.

If you're really wanting to we can't stop ya.

R9 390 is a better performing card most times than a 970.

Otherwise, just wait

underload though the 390 uses about 14% more wattage than the 970
and it is also louder
