So I am still in the planning phase for a new build (prolly wait for more vid cards to adapt to windows 10) and am wondering what the fastest way to RAID/Intel Trim? SSD's is. I was thinking about maybe 4 hard drives, but am open if there is a better number.

Also is there any reason if going all SSD's to have a seperate one for operating system, i know there was when using normal HD's but if everything is on the SSD set will it still be just as fast?

Thanks guys

I don't have intel but I do have 5 ssds in Raid 0 atm(got a hell of a deal and will probably split them between other pcs.). I have installed the the OS and games and what not in the raid and on a single ssd. I didn't really notice much difference as far as programs and what not loading faster. Benchmarks looked awesome but that's about it. Also my boot time went from 18s(single ssd) to a 40s boot time due having to access the raid card on boot.

Your better off just getting 1 large storage ssd honestly or a smaller ssd for os and a larger one for storage but I wouldn't bother.
