I have $1000 to spend on a PC.

I am from Australia and will be getting my parts from CPL online they seem to be the most reliable.

What I need:
2x Burners
1x SSD
1x HDD
Mobo
RAM
GPU
CPU - Intel
Case
Fan for CPU
Power Supply

My main use for this PC is administration items, burning data backups, office suite etc. There will be no games played on this.

No lights necessary so doesn't need to look amazing.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Or just buy a prebuilt. You don't need a GPU unless you're using accelerated applications that render with a GPU. You also don't need an additional fan for the cpu since it comes with one. And, to be honest, you'd probably be okay with a Pentium rather than an i5.

Thanks for the quick reply! I will be taking all this into consideration.
