what problems do you have? not enough space? too slow booting up? game lagging? can't open up 200 tabs on your browser?

Slow start up and I want to upgrade to W10.

Also, when I turn on computer, half the time my sound driver isn't found, so I have to restart.

SSD to speed up the start time. won't help with the games though.

Agreed, grab yourself a nice solid state drive. Should only be 85-100 bucks depending on if you want a samsung or just any brand. then save up more money for a graphics card in the future. :)
This way you can also do a clean install of windows and maybe fix your audio driver in the process

If you need the space, this is a good price for a great 500GB drive: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KHRYRLY/ref=ox_sc_imb_mini_detail?&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

If not, you can get an 250GB 850 EVO for $80-90 if you give it a couple weeks.

What is a good video card I can get that is good for this generation, but isn't the latest. I don't play hardcore graphics games like Crysis. Would like to play max on FFXIV though.

Not sure what you mean by that, but if you want a good card that fits your budget consider a 960, if you dont pay tax on amazon
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SK8PK9A/?tag=pcpapi-20
comes with free copy of phantom pain that you can keep or sell to someone.

or a 280
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150705&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
which comes with a free copy of dirt rally you can keep or sell. Also has a 25 dollar rebate which makes the price pretty sweet overall.

You can compare performance of a 280 and your current card here, i've selected a 7850 as the starter choice
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1076?vs=1332

the 960 and 280 are really similarly performing.
