Looking to drop about 1k on a decent rig. Doesn't have to include a monitor (1080p 28-32 inch) in that price range, but would be sweet if it could (oh, and might just buy a decent tv as a monitor. Must include keyboard, mouse, wireless adapter, decent sound system, blu-ray/dvd burner, 250gb+ ssd, possibly two, or one larger one, a nice video card with decent onboard memory for intensive games. 12gb ram, a preferably decent core with a nicer cooling system, and a legit copy of win 7, preferably pro or ultimate.

Explain to me why you want 12 GB of RAM and Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate?

I've had 8 before and always throttled it with what I do. I prefer win 7. I think win 8 is garbage. Haven't done enough research on 10 to give it a fair shake yet.

win 8.1 classic shell > win 7
