What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
Gaming, mostly games like WoW, league, but I'd also like to be able to run the newer games on max. Such as Fallout 3

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)
Looking for max quality.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
800-1000. USD

In what country are you purchasing your parts?
America

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). [Consider formatting your parts list.]

I made a rough list of the quality of things i'm looking for on PCpartpicker. I didn't select a GFX card because that's where I'm going to need the most help. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pXDZmG

Other Info

Bascially i've built 3 computers before, I know what parts are needed and how everything goes together. I am usually up to date on the best tech etc, but what I'm never up to date on is the best deals. I've had help from you guys before and I'm back again for another friend. The last build is running perfectly BTW, no issues at all.

Edit
I prefer everything to be from Newegg if possible. I just like getting it all from 1 vendor. If that's dumb or an issue let me know, i'm open to all advice. Thanks in advance.

If you want an all Newegg build. Everything but the OS is from Newegg. It costs a good bit more though.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202145 290x 260$ after 20$ MIR.
It's possible to get the 20$ off with edu couponl talking to CSR but YMMV.

Get processor from Microcenter or get Staples to pricematch Microcenter.
Do you have Dreamspark?
Why do you need a cd drive?

Thoughts on this before I order. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dDbLNG
Cd drive is needed just for basic shit, he's not the most tech savy kid so I'd rather get him one than explain to him why he doesn't need one.

E/ I can probably get a cheaper Moba if anyone recommends something.
