So I'd like to buy a new processur and a new motherboard in the near future. Wanted to know if I should wait for skylake

skylake vs haswell should have similar performance, the big difference is in the motherboard/chipset z97 vs z170

skylake release date should be next month, so i'd wait until then. unless you want to save money on ram/cpu/mobo

Alright thanks guys. Think I'm gonna wait for it. It's just for casual gaming but with skylake out the i7 prices might go down a bit

Usually the impact on prices have been quite small, we're talking about previous gen costing $10-20 less, if at all.

lga 1151 z170 g1 gaming motherboard . and I7 skylake cpu.. wait for both of those..
