Depends on what games you're playing. No sense in buying overkill when it'll be obsolete in a year or two anyways. Right now I think the 970 is just about perfect for what you'll spend on it and what you'll get out of it.

Never really trusted zotac as a brand.


If you do get a 980, Pick up a different one imo.
