Hey there, I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from a GeForce 670 and not sure what I want to get. My budget isn't decided yet, but probably looking to spend $500 max. I was thinking the GeForce 970 but wanted to hear opinions. Just wanna get my Witcher on ultra and be able to run as smooth as possible for Fallout 4!

download speccy, and post a screen shot of your computer's full spec.
Also, what power supply (brand, watt) do you have?

I will have to do that tomorrow :P just moved to Chicago and don't even have cable in my apartment yet. He's coming tomorrow so once he does that I'll download it and post. Thanks!

When I built this PC 4 years ago I pretty much went all-out. Can get the specifics on the PSU if you want them though, just need to take off side of PC (which I'll be doing soon anyways to give it a cleaning/dusting since it's been a while).

Think it's worth paying almost double to go from 970 to 980ti?

if you play low req. games like csgo/league/dota etc. then 970 is more than overkill so you can just save $$ and stick with 970.

however if you play witcher3,gta 5,those graphic sex type of games, and want the most out of it, might as well go all the way

Hmmm this is true. Might wait until Amazon Day and see if I can get it a few bucks cheaper. Is there a difference between EVGA, Asus, Gigabyte, etc.?
Also, my processor is still just fine, right? Bought it 4 years ago and honestly have no idea what they've done improvement-wise to processors since then.
