Here's one for you. Went AMD, as video editing uses multiple cores and hyperthreading, but an i7 build would run outside your budget. Added the 970, because Premiere and After Effects can use CUDA GPU rendering.

Monitor is gonna be the most important for editing

Problem you'll run into is the slow response time for IPS monitors that are higher resolutions

Make sure you save money for those.

Hyper threading is gonna make your world way better if you can hold out for it.

Also, saw Tempe, my friends dad owns Casey moores

43% saving and its 4k .. not to mention you're saving 300$ and wont ever have to upgrade this .. I would leave this for last tho.. and focus on the New Intel Skylake Porcessor and Z170 Motherboards . Go for the G1 Gigabyte imo -.0 .. Comes out in 2 months .. Instead getting outdated gear. if you buy the stuff that out now.. they prices will drop a lot when the new stuff releases in 2 months.. IMO just wait for the new stuff and you'll have a little more then 1k to spend.. if u can get a 1,500 you'll be able to get all the new gear ..
