Budget:$1000 CAD
More specific use (what games, what programs): I dabble in WoW once in a while, and enjoy it playing well when I do. Otherwise, I've switched to PS4 for all my other gaming needs. My desktop is plugged into a 55" Plasma TV, so I would like it to handle it smoothly. Otherwise, netflix, streaming, movies sometimes.
Planned time until purchase: Tomorrow
Do you need an Operating System?: No I have Windows 8.1 Pro
Do you have any specific preferred components?: Bluray disk drive
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: if possible wireless card. IDC if it's just a usb stick, but wireless is needed
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: Stock is fine - I would like to run as quietly as possible. This is a glorified media computer that can handle the occasional gaming spurt for a couple of hours.
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: No peripherals required
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): L1H3S6 Ontario Canada

Cheers!

I know your budget was a grand, but for the uses you described I just couldn't imagine spending that much.

I went with a micro-atx build that would be able to max WoW.
That board can overclock the 3258 to 4.2 ghz without too much effort and without an additional cooler, though I included the evo 212 because you said wanted quiet, and IMO the stock cooler on the 3258 is not particularly quiet once overclocked.

Let me know what you think. I believe this will fit your needs perfectly.
