ASUS SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK 1, Z97, DualDDR3-1866, SATA3, RAID, HDMI, DP, ATX

Intel Core i7-4790K, Quad Core, 4.00GHz, 8MB, LGA1150, 22nm, 84W, VGA, BOX

ASUS GeForce GTX 970 OC, 4GB GDDR5 (256 Bit), HDMI, 2xDVI, DP

PSU Corsair AX860 860W, 80 Plus Platinum, 120mm

DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Black 16GB (2x8GB) 1600MHz CL10 1.5V

CPU Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

SSD Samsung 850 EVO 120GB SATA3, 540/520MBs, IOPS 94K

1TB hard

Overpriced MoBo.
Don't need i7 for gaming.
Don't need 860w PSU for that build.

Get a 4690k, $110-130 Z97 Board, and 550w PSU and you will get the same performance but save about $200.

might as well get cas 9 or less rams too

agreed.
Change ram to 8gb.
Then do dexa's recommend for cpu and mobo, but keep the psu
buy a 2nd gtx 970 for sli.
profit.

No reason to overspend on cpu/ram/mobo, but not overspend on graphics, if we are talking about gaming :)

i5 can stream just fine. 16 GB isnt necessary to stream either, but can help in some situations if youre like shaft and keep 30 tabs of chrome open, 3 games, OBS, and your digital desktop girlfriend open all at the same time.
