best options? the mic on my sennheiser's broke so looking to get something else high end

I would put the vast majority of that budget into the headphone and a seperate DAC/amp, what's "left over" can go to the seperate mic imo (unless you have very specific reasons for wanting a $200 mic or so...)

plenty of amps/DACs to consider from Schiit, Audio-Gd, Little Dot, FiiO etc. Maybe even something like the O2 amp/dac combo. I'm rather sceptical about how "cheaper" amps would deal with a pair of headphones like the Audeze so it might just be out of reach as it'll only leave you with $300 for amp/dac/mic..


I sincerely recommend you spend a few hundred dollars of your budget here

Yeah I don't know two things about microphones but I'd say this is the absolute most you should spend on a microphone

Which would leave you with roughly 800 dollars (cannot see price of the stand) to spend on headphones + amp. So something like the Hifiman HE400i or the Sennheiser HD700 o2 amp/dac or Schiit combo of sorts.
