So I'm looking to buy a laptop to replace my old old minibook

I want a laptop that has extreme battery life. Like the best possible battery life, aka the biggest battery lol.

I also want it to be able to handle excel, and never hesitate with multiple browsers open and such, a nice multi thread cpu that still has good enough single thread speed for opening browsers and such In an instant.

Budget is unknown yet I'd just like to weigh the options but chances are I'll be buying the best one possible unless the price is like thousands of usd.

Any recommendations?

keep in mind if you want apps to run in an instant, you'll want a solid state drive

Pssh no!

Google Chrome :p

No really though I don't plan on gaming on it just excel and spread sheet, office works, music with external speakers, and Web browser! But I don't want it to skip beat with 15 instances of chrome open and excel!

And I don't want one of those junk batteries that are rated for 2 hours and only last 1 hour

I'm well aware of the difference between sata and ssd's despite my knowledge base on pc's. :p

Ssd's can be slow, they have speed ratings just like satas and there are differences :p
