- Budget:Looking to spend 500-700, can spend more if I get a lot more bang for my buck. Without going over too much, can't justify it for gaming though.
- Zip Code or Location: Portland, OR 97206
- Specific Use: Gaming mostly, do other things on it, but most of my time on this desktop will be spent gaming.
- Any preferred components?: Would like to have a ddr3 setup, but I am a little lost sometimes when it comes to hardware so throw stuff at me :D
- Any spare parts you can re-use?: Maybe the tower, but would prefer to start from scratch and donate my outdated stuff to a younger sibling.
- Overclocking your processor?: Never looked into it, if it's easy enough do and as long as it wont shorten my computers life expectancy, I may look into it. If you could let me know if doing this will change my build/price at all Please do :D
- Need an Operating System?: Yes depending on price, got a guy who can get me genuine windows for not too expensive, but checking more options never hurt.
- Need a Monitor? / Mouse? / Keyboard?: Yes and no, if its gonna take up $200 of my limit, I can hold off for now, but again don't be afraid to show me some of your guys' deals.
- Need a Wireless Card or Adapter? Same as above, if I can get a cheap, but reliable one. sure, but dont wana break my bank. I'm good with ethernet, but dont be afraid to show me what they will cost.
- Need Another Component? (Specify): I'v always liked liquid cooled systems, have not looked at prices anytime recently, but again if its gonna cost me 100-200 dollars would rather have that money spent somewhere else on my build right now.

Please and thanks :D feel free to pm me with any specific questions.
/e oh last also, would prefer a video card with hdmi out on it, playing on my old tv.

Right away if more towards the $500 range, if closer to or over 700 will be upcoming friday, if price change by a weekly basis that's okay, dont mind an extra 50 or so, just need a push in the right direction towards what works well together, or at all in a build.

519 without any windows, wifi or Peripherals

630 without windows, wifi or peripherals

The 630 is definitely going to have better performance by a lot due to the huge bump in graphics, I would probably wait for that if its an option.
There are some rebates that I did not include at the 630/520 pricepoint, so you can potentially have it all for cheaper. ^_^
You can add wifi for about 20 dollars.
Windows legitimately is about 100 dollars, I would seek an alternative if you have one.

Awesome, both look great, with the video card being the only difference, off the top of your head, if possible to tell.
Most games I'll be playing are - WoW, league of legends, diablo 3, runescape, day z, and a few random others, will I be able to max out settings on those game (mostly wow and day z) would the cheaper be able to do this, or is the 4gig card be a must?

lastly, are the mounting holes on motherboards universal or will some only fit certain towers? I've always liked the transparent plexiglass cases, just to keep an eye on my dust :D might wana do a little swapping and shopping with the tower if its possible

Yes All i changed was the card, since Graphics card is usually the biggest performance changer.
the 270 will definitely max all those games [except day z, I dont know how the optimization is in that game, I know it used to be awful, not sure how it is now]
The 290 just has a lot more power, so as new games are released, you will be more likely to keep higher settings in those. If you have the budget, I would recommend it, but would understand if you just dont want the unnecessary cost, because it is definitely overkill for anything on that list.

The motherboards are universal as long as youre not trying to put a standard ATX mobo in an mATX case.
Just be sure to choose a case that can fit your components. If you go with the 290, it is a very long card that cant fit in every case :D
