so i have always wanted to get in to computers more when i was a kid my dad pulled me more in to cars so i now know almost all there is to know a about
american muscle and i love it but now i want to know more about computers how to build one what goes with what and so on

basically if one of my friends comes to me or a family member with a computer problem i want to be able to look at it and know whats wrong and be able to fix it
take it apart put it back together the whole 9

so my question is where can i read up on more of this any Certifications? any college classes i can take?

any help would be nice thanks

basically a help-desk kind of skillset? look into the A+ certification. it covers some hardware and microsoft windows configurations which sounds like what you want

more hardware what cpu works with what and does not work with it what overclocking is more that way

also im looking to build my own computer after i learn all this and i want to know what i would want and why i have it

computer will be for gaming/school

The way I basicly learned was, from other people problems :P people bring me a computer thats problem doesnt work. I would google what it was doing and figure out how to fix it :D

NOTE llok at multiple different posts/threads before u try anything see whats going on the most. Dont just trust one person :D
