and as for mice, the mionix naos is very silent at clicks and scroll

Definitely I've had some luck with the corsair k70 for a mechanical its really quiet but if you just need something meh get any non mechanical really

i'll look into the k70, i think my local best buy has it on demo. would look nice with my PC too.
Otherwise, i think i'll have to go online, i haven't seen a solid non-mechinical keyboard in a while, i want something functional and pretty.

any thoughts on a nice mouse, i got a razor one from work for free, its a nice mouse, but the green doesn't mesh up with my setup at all, looking to do a black and red theme.

I like the rat series but it depends on the hand and person. I really really like the rat design and thumbrest

I've used a Merc Stealth keyboard for years. It has a side panel for gaming that is ergonomic, mostly set up for FPS. But I've used.it for everything by changing the keybindings. Those keys are very quiet and laid out quite nicely.
