I'm a starcraft 2 Player, im thinking about upgrading my Compaq Presario CQ5320F it has a nvidia 9800 gt
I want to a buy a razer NZHT H440 case
i wanna get a nice 8 core processor, and 32 inch tv to game on.
any thoughts of a nice build for 800-1000 bucks, also love emulating games.

probably just the psu,which is 500 watts, and the Diskdrive and hard drive.

2 Questions:
1.
Are you set on the 8 core processor? I would recommend an i5 4690k [quad] over amd's 8 core because the performance in many cases can be better for 1. gaming in general 2. specifically much better in starcraft 2
2.
What kind of psu is it? Quality/brand?

This is the stuff i have together so far if i can convince you to go intel, since you have the budget for it.

Why does it matter? Hardware isn't restrictive like that. AMD CPU's can run Nvidia cards. Intel CPU's can run AMD cards.
