Looking to spend 400~, can maybe go up to 500. I currently have an AMD Radeon HD 6850 gpu, and an i5 760@2.8GHz with some wack mobo. Starting to run into minor heating problems and overall just slower shit since it's getting old. Everything else is fine. Think I have 720W PSU or something close, also 8 gigs of ram currently, may want to add some more, don't think I need it though.

Also wondering if I can bridge my old gfx card with a newer one, or just get another older one and bridge it, or just straight up replace it with a newer one.

Ah, alright thanks. Damn processors haven't seem to gone down in price as much as I thought, how much of a difference would it be between the processor I have now and that one do you think?

If you have a 212 & are running into heat probs.. Then either your thermal paste is fucked, or your case is full of dust.

Case is probably full of dust, the heat problems aren't the main problems I'm having though.

Yeah, I know. I meant the heat has only recently been a problem compared to the other shit. Just cleaned it out though so we'll see how it goes.
