Trying to get my buddy to build his own computer but he's not biting

What do you guys think about Alienware or other gaming pc's prebuilt?

Any recommendations for him or suggestions to tell him with going with building his own pc?

He's got a budget of around 900-1200

He'll get more bang for his buck, and better quality components, building his own. Alienware is overpriced.

Right right! Would you have any suggestions for prebuilt gaming computers? He seems to like these little alienware boxes that are lightweight and compact which you can't really build one of those

I built my own and love it, I just don't know if he'll ever go through with building his own.

This is true, but I'd probably be the one picking parts out for him and I'm not sure I'd be the best at it. Been 3 years since I built mine!

Check out micro atx builds, You can make pretty damn small pc's.

As for putting it together, Its pretty simple. not really any way to screw it up if you just take your time to do it right

For 1200, it is unlikely that he can get very powerful Alienware.
