So, just ordered the evga gtx 970 FTW, afraid i might not have enough power to support it.

my current psu is the corsair cx750m

Current specs
fx 8350 @ 4.5
8gs gskill ram 1600
msi g43 mobo
ssd
hdd

8 case fans(if that matters)
2 led lights
hyper 212 evo(if that also matters)

750W will push a 970 fine with that setup.

Will i be safe to oc it? I know Nvidia isnt as power hungry as AMD but on a higher end card it make use more power than i have available

Easy. You're probably only drawing about 400W or so with that setup.

Your setup tops 450w. Would say around 400w.
No problemas running 750

u should worry more about the quality of that psu than the wattage lol
and 970 uses lil power on such powerful card, which makes it sex

I've never really heard anything bad about the psu at all, on all reviews and everything and people i personally know who own it, dont understand where u are getting your information from, please explain.

it's a great OK budget PSU, without the budget price.
As long as you're not pushing it, you'll be fine.
