I'm looking for opinions on what the store has put into it..

I told them that i wanted something built to run path of exile since I plan on playing that awesome game for quite awhile, so that's what he came up with.

Operating System
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i7 4770 @ 3.40GHz 29 °C
Haswell 22nm Technology
RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (10-10-10-30)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. B85M-E (SOCKET 1150) 28 °C
Graphics
SyncMaster (1280x1024@60Hz)
24M35 (1920x1080@60Hz)
1024MB ATI AMD Radeon R7 200 Series (Sapphire/PCPartner) 35 °C
Storage
223GB KINGSTON KINGSTON SH103S3 SCSI Disk Device (SSD) 23 °C
931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-08M2NA0 SCSI Disk Device (SATA) 23 °C
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NSC0 SCSI CdRom Device
Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

He built the tower for my budget, and he said that I didn't need a high end video card.. and I could always upgrade it later if need be.

It seems to run alright but I still get lag sometimes when I play poe

Any kind of feedback would be much appreciated.

It's because PoE is a terribly made game... literally.

Pretty sure it's still the GPU. Like duck said, the game is optimized pretty poorly and some builds and situitions cause excess stress to the GPU when compared to regular gameplay.

Yeah he did tell me that the gpu was sub par.. but that it was all i needed. I was a bit skeptic about that.. but when he told me that he chose that one to be able to spend more on other components, I went with it.

I have good internet speed here ( 80/11 ), so I was expecting poe to run like I can see it run on some streams, but it doesn't.

Now I feel like upgrading my gpu already lol.. what would be a good choice?

Thanks for the replies guys.

We need 2 pieces of info:

1. whats your budget for the upgrade.
2. What is the brand and Wattage of your power supply

Seeing the feedback i'm getting, its obvious that I should have asked you guys first.. I honestly didn't think about it.

I paid around 2k in canadian money ( 1800$ american at the time ) for the tower and a 24'' Lg monitor a couple months ago.

Budget for upgrade.. well, I'd be ready to pay for a gpu that would be optimal with my setup to play poe.. but probably not over 400$-500$.

Power supply: Cooler master 550W, Model #550-pcar-n1

Holy shit dude, that guy fucked you over big time for 2k...

He managed to get u a shitty gpu, so that he could spend more on other parts... yet they are all junk for a 2k budget.
Sounds like he cleared out his unsold inventory.

Could've got k version of cpu,
Z97 board
Reliable psu,
CAS 9 rams at least
Etc.

Never go to that dude again lol

Before you upgrade though, have u updated Ur drivers to latest?

With 400-500 budget, go for the 970

Gtx 970 for 400.
R9 290 for 330, but youll want a new PSU, Good brand + 500 watts or higher.
Gtx 960 for 245.

Either Gtx card comes with witcher 3, can sell or keep.

Currently NCIX has a 500 watt modular corsair PSU for 60 after rebate.
