Why spend the money? That's a pretty solid setup. Maybe put some of that money into a larger SSD, better cooling fans, liquid cooling, etc.

I'd go with an i5 4690k and either the Gigabyte Gaming 7 or Asus Pro Gamer motherboard.

If you're just interested in having top gear, Might want to wait for the release of skylake. Its going to be a bit better and be DDR4 ready. Should be here about october if all the news is correct.
I know thats a good chunk of time to wait, but your current processor is only 0-30% worse [although occasionally its better ^^] than the current gen i5's. So unless you will upgrade again to skylake after 6 months, I'd wait on it ^_^

edit: grab a 2nd 980 for sli in the meantime :)
