My bank card is completely fubar for the next 2-3 weeks, so my options are... go to micro center.

Which is hours away in chicago.

Now after 6 months of saving, getting my fucking banking account indefinitely locked due to a bad cv code, and staring at my mailbox for a fucking week straight expecting a part they cancelled because they couldn't reach my phone... I'm done.

My question is, how much is shaft's build if I got it from westmont/ogden Chicago microcenter? 60803

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zWGBxr

I saw this a while ago. Secksii said I'm basically paying 500$ more for a locked cpu, shitty psu and video card, and windows. It's like 1300$ after shipping, but I'd have it at my fucking door in 3 days and be playing games.

It's basically the build I want to order except lower quality versions of the cpu/gpu/psu and + ssd/windows. ( http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bLxtbv + an EVO cooler )

This is mostly a rant but I'd like opinions on what to do. I am frustrated. :(

Well special time for you right now. Idk if the sale is still going but there is an exceptional prebuilt on sale right now.

http://store.hp.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/us/en/pdp/desktops/hp-envy-phoenix-810qe-desktop-k6v72av-aba-1?jumpid=ba_r329_hhoaffiliate&aid=38293&pbid=lw9MynSeamY&aoid=35252&siteid=lw9MynSeamY-ZWE4SsSlA1E.2abzttSB.Q

Click customize and buy.
Change your graphics card to a gtx 980 4gb
change your i7 to a K version if desired
add SSD if desired
use code 30SPRING at checkout.

total should be 1109 + taxes if you chose to add 30 dollars for the I7-K [1197.72]

Pretty sure you couldn't build this yourself for cheaper [maybe at microcenter]
but even if im wrong, figure i'd just bring it up since it seems like a decent deal to me.
PSU is questionable and may not be overclockable mobo since no details on it.

Its the Nvidia branded tissues they made so that you could properly dust off your Gtx 970/980 :P

I almost considered buying that rig just to resell the pieces but I think after all the math is said and done, I'd turn very little profit if any.

This build:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3pN8vK

Is $1327.65 after taxes at Microcenter.

/e

You can drop the SSD, get 8GB instead of 16GB of RAM, and drop the h100i and get a CM 212 Evo to save about $230.

Yeah, I know. I was just making something similar to what he posted in the OP (shaft's generic copypasta build) and didn't refresh the page. I didn't see anyone else's posts =P
