I'm currently using a lancool pc-k62 case and was thinking of upgrading parts but leaving what i could.

Would this build be fine? any recommendations? or any parts that could be cheaper? (features i wouldnt use for gaming etc)

Get the 970. The 980 isn't worth the price, as it's only about 10% better than 970.

I got gtx 970 + 4690k and can run any game on max settings. Even GTAV gives me about 40fps at max (1080p)

I should also say i would prefer nividia gfx and intel cpu, price isnt exactly an issue, my pc case might not fit a 970 so ill need a full build most likely

edit: i'd rather get something good then regret it later
